Frequently used recipes

1. Steamed buns - ‘Pizza'-'Dough' (45min) (best recipe so far for making steamed buns)

Dry yeast 1 tsp
Plain flour 550 g (can decrease plain flour and increase wholemeal flour or polenta or other grains)
Salt 1 tsp
Dry milk 1 tbsp
Sugar 1 3⁄4 tbsp
Olive oil 20g (2tbsp)
Water 330 ml

2. Brioche - use brioche cycle 3.5 hours no timer. (too rich for me)

Yeast 1 1/4 tsp
Flour 400g
Salt 1 tsp
Sugar 2 1/2 tbsp
Butter 120g (10tbsp = 200ml oil)
Water 170ml
Eggs 2 (100g) part of egg use as glazing

3. Noodles - total 1hr at most (use pizza dough cycle for 10 minutes, rest in cling wrap for 20 minutes, cut noodles 15 minutes, boil 10 minutes)

300g flour
150ml water
3g salt

4. Sultana loaf - basic, raisin cycle (4 hours), can use timer. (very good for taking to friends' place)

1 1/2 tsp Instant Dry Yeast
400gm plain Flour
1/2 tsp Salt
3 tbsp dark Brown Sugar
2 tbsp Milk Powder
2 tbsp Veg Oil
280ml water
100gm Sultana
